Fragrance has always had a place in our celebrations — attar on Eid morning, a bottle tucked into a wedding gift, a perfume chosen for a birthday. A perfume is personal in a way few gifts are: it’s worn close, every day, and remembered. That’s also what makes choosing one for someone else feel daunting. Here’s how to get it right.
Start with the person, not the bottle
Think about what they wear now, and how they carry themselves. Someone who loves crisp shirts and early mornings will likely enjoy a fresh, clean scent. Someone who dresses up for every dawat may prefer something warmer and richer. If you can, ask a close friend or sibling what they already wear — it’s the best clue there is.
- For someone fresh and understated: Vayron — bergamot, lavender and soft musk.
- For a classic, polished taste: Aver — green apple, cardamom and iris over sandalwood.
- For lovers of rose: Crowné — rose, jasmine and warm amber.
- For someone bright and romantic: Elara — fruit and petals, light and luminous.
- For a warm, sweet taste: Floria — fruit and flowers on a soft, sweet base.
- For an easy everyday gift: Evaan — bright, clean and simple to wear.
A perfume for every occasion
- Eid: rich, warm notes feel festive — rose, amber and soft spices, as in Crowné.
- Weddings and mehndi: a gift for the couple or the family. Soft florals for her, warm aromatics for him — or one fragrance they can share.
- Birthdays and anniversaries: choose something a little special, for evenings — a scent they’ll connect with that day.
- Thank-yous, colleagues and teachers: keep it fresh and easy to wear, like Evaan.
When in doubt, choose easy to love
If you don’t know their taste, avoid the most intense fragrances and lean towards fresh, clean or softly floral compositions, which most people find easy to wear. Every perfume’s page shows its notes, intensity and longevity, and our guide How to Choose Your Signature Scent explains the fragrance families.
Presentation is part of the gift
Every D’lior order arrives in our signature box, gift-wrapped and ready to give — so it’s ready to hand over the moment it arrives.
Sending a gift across Pakistan
To send a perfume straight to someone, enter their name, phone number and address at checkout. Choose standard delivery (3–5 days, Rs 300) or express (1–2 days, Rs 650).
Every order is cash on delivery, so the person who receives the parcel pays the rider. If it’s a surprise, make sure someone at the address knows it’s coming and has the amount ready.
Around Eid and the wedding season, order a few days early, and keep your phone on: we call or message to confirm every order before it ships. Full details are in our Shipping & Delivery policy.
Choose with care
Because fragrance is personal, all sales are final: we don’t accept returns or exchanges (see our Return & Refund Policy). If you’d like a second opinion before you order, message our advisors on WhatsApp — tell us about the person you’re buying for, and we’ll help you choose.
